Refund & Replacement Policy
Every sticker is made-to-order at our shop in Bozeman, Montana. Because of that, we don't offer general refunds — but we will absolutely make it right if something is wrong with what we sent you. Here's exactly how it works.
Defective or Damaged Items (Our Fault)
If your sticker arrives with a printing defect, was damaged before shipping, or you received the wrong design, we'll replace it. Just email us at hashtagtheislandfund@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- A clear photo of the issue
Orders of 9 stickers or fewer: Full replacement of the affected item at no cost to you.
Orders of 10 stickers or more (bulk orders): Replacement of only the affected stickers, not the entire order. (If 5 out of 50 arrived damaged, we replace those 5.)
Lost or Damaged in Transit (Carrier's Fault)
Once your package leaves our hands, USPS controls what happens next. If your package is lost in transit, marked delivered but not received, or arrives damaged due to carrier handling, here's our process:
- You file a USPS claim first. It's free, takes about 5 minutes, and can be done at usps.com/help/claims.htm. USPS is usually responsive within 5–10 business days.
- If the claim is approved, USPS reimburses you directly.
- If the claim is denied, forward us the denial notice and we'll cover the replacement at our cost.
This process protects both of us — the carrier pays when it's their mistake, and we step in when you're genuinely stuck.
Wrong Address Entered at Checkout
If a package is returned to us because the shipping address was entered incorrectly, the customer is responsible for the cost of reshipping. Please double-check your address before placing the order.
Buyer's Remorse / Changed Mind
Because every sticker is made-to-order, we don't accept returns or issue refunds for changes of mind. All sales are final once an order is placed.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order, email us within 2 hours of placing it and we'll do our best to catch it before production starts. After that window, the order is already in motion and can't be canceled.
